In Scotland we would use Paddy just for Patrick anyway, nothing to do with being Irish. Not sure if that is relevant to the discussion just wanted to join in lol.

I know! Over the last 15 years I think all the players I've met have had 100 NHL games combined! It really isn't fair.

I quite like this idea, I take it that the conference boundries are removed so in theory all players could be chosen from the west or indeed the east. I think this would mean that the best players in the league would be selected regardless of their conference. -

Really want to see Bert do more of this. This may seem a bit daft but does any else think that he feels more a part of the team this year and so he's got his teammates backs more? This made sense in my head, not so sure now that it's written down lol. -

Some idiot poured coffee on there legs on Britain and sued mcdonalds, not sure if he won but people like that should be banned from having warm drinks! As for the hockey, at 15 if you get cut from the team just get on with it! Are we going to see it at camp this year with those who don't make the team calling their lawyers?

I remember watching the game watching the game live when he did that move off the back of the net, this was before the days of the highlights packages on nhl.com so I stayed up to six in the morning watching the ice hockey and then went to school the next day, I always remember it being totally worth it and thinking that Pav was a massive talent who would only get better. Ah the good old days when there was ice hockey on British television.
