Miller is great and all, but a big reason this team struggled in the playoffs was because players like him and Eaves just didn't do anything.. our 4th line was virtually useless because the only player that could hit was Abdelkadar... Modano would this team 3 dangerous lines. They would all have a good two way center, a sniper, and good net presence... this would be a great move. Plus, like someone else said, it would give the team (and Modano) motivation. Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Franzen-Flip-Bertuzzi Hudler-Modano-Cleary That would be a sick lineup.

Ericsson is only 2 years younger than Lebda and has been awful this season... Lebda played good in the playoffs when he was called to... That third pairing defense was terrible with Ercisson and Lilja.. they are just so slow. I guess you can give Ericsson another season to improve (a lot), but IDK....

Good period, good opportunities.... just keep shooting and dominating the play and the goals will follow. And contrary to what other people have said, I think Franzen is playing with a lot of intensity out there and has had some good opportunities.
