Where have Nyquist and Brunner been?

Nyquist has the same amount of goals in 2 less games in the AHL this year. I'm not convinced Tatar is this great shooter that people think he is. IMO, just from watching the games this season, Nyquist is the better player. He has really started controlling the game when he is out on the ice the last few weeks.

Then it would be Tatar. Clealy, Nyquist is superior Tatar, and is already one of our better forwards. I think they could get a solid return for Tatar (in a package).

I am super mad. Much like many of you on here. I mean, I am probably madder then I should be about a hockey game. But comments like these are sad and embarrassing. This team does not deserve to get booed off ice. They have made the playoffs for 20 straight years and have given all of us, including you, something to cheer about more then any other franchise in the NHL. This team works harder on a nightly basis then many teams from the past red wings team. This will happen with young kids in the lineup. We dominated tonight and 2 stupid mistakes lost us this game. it sucks.

I actually disagree about DD. I thought he looked very solid. He made some great plays, and nice passes. And he never got beat. His ability to get the puck to the offense the first time is needed.

I like this lineup a lot. Skill wise, Filpula outmatches most other 3rd line centers. I'm feeling a big game from the third. Also, Andersson on the 4th will be great. MUST WIN! LGW

You are not going to find somebody better then Fil in free agency. We need to keep him.

I think you have to resign Filppula. He is arguably the best free agent available this year. I can see the lines looking something like this. Nyquist-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi/Jagar/Morrow Franzen-Zetterberg-Flip Tatar-Helm-Andersson Emerton-Abdelkadar-Tootoo/eaves/milller Kronwall-Ericsson Dekeyser-Kindl Smith-Quincey Colo Lashoff Howard Gus This a pretty solid lineup. However, I think Bert might be gone as well. So replace him through a trade for a young forward or a UFA.

My friends and I know somebody who works for FSN. Whenever we see this guy, he is always telling stuff about what goes on inside there. Anyway, we saw him recently and we asked him about the Murhpy thing. Basically he said nobody there knows why he got fired, and that everybody there was pretty mad about. Not groundbreaking info, but I think it kind of supports what a lot people are saying on how this might be personal or something. Anyway, thought I'd share the info.

I really want us to make the playoffs because I believe anything can happen once your in. But at the same time, I have not been disappointed with this season. If we miss, we know we have given it our best effort, and we are setting ourselves up for the future. I think the positives this season outweigh the negatives. The development of our young guys has been great. Also, our Defense is turing into a solid, VERY young group. That is huge for future success. And if we miss the playoffs, we get a decently high pick to add to the system. That would be huge to go with our prospects now.

Tatar is good, but he is not a top 6 guy. Nyquist is a much better all around player.

lol, you would think from peoples comments in this forum, that Sheahan should be put on the top line. Maybe after today's game they will realize that Babcock doesn't just say things to say things. He actually knows what he was talking about. Sheahan showed he's not ready for the show just yet.

Lol, maybe, but that game was incredibly even. Somebody had to win. I wouldn't call one team superior over the other based on that game.

That is a completely false statement. This is one of the hardest working teams we have had. Don't confuse not dominating every night with lack of work ethic.

Great game by DD today. Poised and made some good passes. I think his most impressive attribute is his hockey sense. He seems to read the situations very well and make the right play. Very refreshing.

Lol, its frustrating, but that was far from a pathetic game. This is what happens when your lineup is full of young guys and rookies. There will be growing pains. On the bright side, DD looked great. That Kronwall penalty is irritating. Thats the second time he has taken a stupid penalty in the last 5 minutes to kill our chances.

So that means St Louis sucks too? Because they just managed one goal through two periods?
