True. At one play during the game, Ovi gets a very light shove to his side and he goes down hard to the ice and lays there trying to draw a penalty while the play goes back to his zone. He then gets up after he realized no penalty would be called and the announcers call him a "trooper". That is embarrassing soccer diving and should have no place in this game. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom would never dive like that. They would just get up and keep playing.

He also plays with Lidstrom most of the time.

My thinking exactly. I think they are the most west-ish team in the east.

For the east, I think it will be the Devils or the Pens (unfortunately)... the Caps still seem to have too many defensive issues come playoff time.

Agreed. It is very sad... someone on last page said "if we make we will just get embarrassed in the first round". Really??? Some of the people on this site are ridiculous. If we make it to the playoffs (and there is still a very very good chance that we will), how can you say we would be embarrassed... This team has plenty of tools to get the job done, it's just whether they can all turn it on at the same time... some people need to stop being such awful fans and start supporting their team more... think about all those s***ty teams that, every year, would kill to be in the position we are in right now... this season is not over by any means.

haha, that guy just leaves after being completely owned by actual stats... Lidstrom is still the most consistant and effective player on the team, hands down... He is the best defensive defensemen in the the league and to say otherwise is ignoring the facts (which were posted!)

that guy has serious personality issues. His Elton John wardrobe shows his constant need for attention while his hate for europeans shows his ignorance as a human being. He is just mad that Lidstrom is an ACTUAL important person in hockey history.

I am so angry right now... after this performance I will not be surprised to see something happen trade wise.... I really really hope they don't make excuses again like "oh i thought we played really good for two periods blah blah blah..."
