I have always said this... your right, Z and Dats on separate lines create more depth for the team... Putting them together is pointless, really, because they don't produce enough to make it worth while. When apart, we have two solid lines with two world-class centers... If Z-Dats-Homer line produced like the Sedins or Thornton, Marleau, and Heatly, then yeah, keep them together.... but they don't.

Yeah, except May doesn't keep goons off anybody's back... He hasn't had a fight in recent memory and, although he has had scoring chances lately, doesn't really contribute anything to the team (Abby does way more).

Williams is the obvious second shooter... He has good hands and a great shot, not to mention he has a great SO percentage... that was a part of the the reason they signed him too, because he was so great at shootouts... People on this site rip on Williams so much it is ridiculous... Anybody who thinks they should have put Miller or Eaves or Filpula or Cleary in front of Williams needs to start watching these players a little closer. I would go: Dats Williams Bertuzzi Zetterberg whoever
