I wonder if it is the best idea to trade Lebda away at this point... the way Ericsson has been playing I wouldnt be surprised if the 3rd D pairing was Lebda-Lilja (helped us win the cup in 08) when Lilja returns... Ericsson has been more of a liability than Lebda or Meech IMO, although they are all liabilities (judging by their play recently). -

Honestly, what does May really do? Whenever he fights it is always set up and a joke... he is just laughing with the guy he is fighting. He does play the body, which is good, but he pretty much does nothing out there... at least Leino has looked better as of late and has almost scored a few times. He plays better with Abdelkader IMO

Basketball is a joke to watch... the fouls are absurd and the refs cheat (literally, they are taught to cheat during their training)... It is so boring to watch it is hard to explain... Plus, I hate how they all are best friends and joke around during the game... 2 best leagues to watch: NHL and NFL... both of these sports are 100% team games. Basketball can be controlled by one player (i.e. Lebron and Kobe) -

Ha Ha, good point... It would be interesting, at the very least, to acquire him. That lineup looks very very solid from top to bottom. Modano is a guy with passion for the game and would make this team even better and more dangerous. You put him on that third line with Cleary and Williams and you have a dangerous third line with loads of scoring potential. But it would cause problems with keeping Leino and Miller.

Tears of joy!!! Kronwall is sooooooooo important to this team... Lilija will be Great to have back... Williams scoring is needed... Homers net present is missed.... Franzens domination is exciting to think about!

Honestly, I am still weary about the idea of shipping Leino. He has played half of a season in the NHL, and he still has potential to be a good player. If Lilija gets back, we could do something like Lebda + draft pick. If I recall right, Dallas was looking for a decent puck-moving defenseman. I am not sure how the cap would work though, so that would be an issue/non-issue.
