I liked how he shot the puck, controlled the puck aggressively, was assertive in the play, backchecked hard, and wasn't afraid to play physical... Leino should take a few pointers from Ritola

I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy that works for the wings. This guy has been saying since december that Franzen will be returning earlier than everybody expects... I wonder.... But anyways, that is great news!!!!

i would say that Williams is more like Sammy than Eaves--a rocket right handed shot. Eaves is a very very good player, but he is no Sammy. And I don't think this team needs another sniper when the team gets healthy. It certainly wouldn't hurt, but I don't think this is necessary... They will be very very similar to the 2008 stanley cup winning team: strong defense backed by clutch offense.

Johan Franzen

Zetterberg and Datsyuk do not produce enough together to keep them together. Apart, they give the team two outstanding centers and greater depth. Zetterberg, Franzen, and Cleary, is a great 1st/2nd line that has proven they can score points at clutch times. Datsyuk, Bertuzzi, and Homer is also a great 1st/2nd line who has proven they can score goals (3 last night). Filppula, Williams, and Miller/Leino makes for a dominant 3rd line. This leaves Draper, Eaves, and Helm to be the most dominant 4th line in the NHL imo. Splitting Z and D will give this team much more depth than your lines suggest. Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary Miller/Leino-Filppula-Williams Draper-Helm-Eaves Top 3 lineup in the NHL

are big guns, Zetterberg and Datsyuk, still have a few years left to be great players... although they are in their 30's, the are still great players... Nothing is a guarantee in the playoffs for any team, but I think its possible to go all the way again... I think healthy, they are top 3 in the league... my prediction for the conference finals: Detroit vs. San Jose (we knock out Chicago in the first round as the 7th seed)

The thing I like about Ritola compared to Leino: ATTITUDE! Wings win 4-1 Goals: Flippula, Ritola, Datsyuk, Bertuzzi Nash (but also goes -4) LETS GO WINGS!
