I was under the impression that the Flames didn't know there was a shortage when they got the shots. Has this changed? I myself didn't hear of a shortage until Sunday or so. I have a problem with them skipping the lines, but there are thousands of other low risk people that got the vaccine thinking that the Alberta government knew what they were doing when they said there was enough for everyone. Edit: The Flames do a lot for the community as well. A few years ago they were supposedly one of the most community involved teams in the league. http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?bcid=20924 http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40355

Last year Bertuzzi was lazy, he lacked physicality, and he made blind drop passes that 95% of the time led to turnovers. Maybe Babcock can fix him but it has been tried several times before so I doubt it.

Dany Heatley didn't pubicly request the trade. Bryan Murray wouldn't keep his mouth shut and screwed himself over.

Which goalie shouldn't have a starting job?

Just as long as you aren't giving the Blues any credit your post is alright.

I see Red Wings fans talking about teams they have no idea about.

The Wings have Bertuzzi. Enough said.

Bryan Murray shot himself in the foot. I blame him more than Heatley for the whole debacle. As bad as it looks you can't blame a player for not liking the role he has been given. Why would a star player with an NTC stay on a team that he has had problems with in the past when he could be having more fun on a different team? I also don't blame Heatley for not wanting to go to Edmonton. That franchise is a joke and the city is depressing.

It's that same Flames team that eliminated the top three seeds in the Western Conference only to lose in seven games to the top regular season in the league. The Flames were screwed over badly by the league when Kerry Fraser was booed off of Saddledome ice but was chosen by the league to Ref game 7. If I remember correctly in that game 7 the Flames were down 2-1 with less than two minutes left and Kerry Fraser called a penalty against them. There's also game 6 with the phantom goal but I won't press that too much as Darryl Sutter could have risked calling for a review. I love the Red Wings injuries comment though. This year the Flames lose their second line and "choke" the division lead yet I'm told injuries aren't an excuse. Then when they go into the playoffs missing Regehr and having to play Sarich on a broken foot and Phaneuf whose list of injuries was stacked at that point they are eliminated yet injuries aren't an excuse. Langkow couldn't even shoot the puck due to one hand being broken and the other one rendered useless because of a sprained wrist. Bourque was still suffering from a high angle sprain after being slewfooted by Dan Fritsche in February.
