Not sure how we fare now. In the past, teams like Boston wouldn't be caught dead playing a guy like Shawn Thornton against us. It would be a waste of a roster spot and nothing good would come of it. We are still that type of team mostly: there aren't guys on this team that will LOOK to mix things up. I remember right after they had a big brawl with Dallas, Brad Marchand tried to get Eaves to drop the gloves (we were blowing them out) and Eaves just smirked and skated away and they got the two minutes. Tootoo notwithstanding.

Think of it: IF IF IF, Fil and Mule get it going and Broons really did break his slump, we will be in good shape. Glass half full.

I'm not saying Gaborik would get us a Cup, but keep this line to yourself. If you need a goal, are you REALLY relying on Dan Cleary as much as Marian Gaborik? Is Marian Gaborik REALLY equal to Dan Cleary? Come on.....

What Flipper said. LOL, we know what this team is with the guys they have in now. And this team doesn't score. There is no harm in sitting Dan Cleary's crippled ass or Patrick Eaves who has done nothing to play better athletes.

Isn't the roster limit gone now? So there is no excuse for Tatar and Sheahan making their way to Phoenix.

Add Sheahan to this list. I don't need a be an NHL head coach to see Dan Cleary fall on his ass at least once per shift or Ian White get pushed around like a little girl in every corner.

I would take Jagr if he is a complimentary addition to a Vanek/Gaborik. I agree, only adding Jagr is pointless.

Lol, think of a 2 on 1 with Zetterberg and Filppula. 90% chance they don't give a shot off. Pipe dream: Add Jagr for a mid-round pick and add Vanek/Gaborik for Fil+1st+something else.
