Per Elliot Friedman: Buffalo calls up C Luke Adam. Not sure what that would imply since all the guys that are wanted (Vanek, Pominville, Stafford) are wingers.

He scores goals. The rest of the roster? Doesn't score goals. I agree we aren't a Marian Gaborik away from being elite, but a Marian Gaborik is they type of guy we need to add in order to move forward.

In addition to the ridiculously condensed schedule, I agree. Hopefully he can get his conditioning up for next season. This shouldn't be all that surprising I guess. Look around the league: it looks like a bunch of rookies are falling by the wayside. -
