To make the team better, a threat? Money? The stability of the organization? The players? There's more that goes through a player's head when making a decision than just "HURR DURR MY TEAM JUST BEAT THEM SO I'M NOT GOING THERE LOLOLOL THEY SUCK I'D RATHER STAY HERE LAWL" With that said, the wings haven't landed a big name FA since Rafalski and I don't even remember the last one before him. Can't imagine Kenny would get the top 2 in one offseason. -
Went to the recent home game against the Panthers, corner seats right against the glass. Coolest part was probably Datsyuk flipping the puck over the net from behind, right in front of us. Even though no goal resulted, everyone freaked out like he scored. He's quite the spectacle to watch in person. That game also went into a shootout but that was meh even though they won.

Engblom wants them to get their "ass" going. -
There were some wide open nets where they simply couldn't bury it like Rinne's huge save on Zetterberg, Emmerton's open net shot being blocked by a stick and Pavel completely missing what would have been his 2nd goal. Wings could easily be up 2-1 or 3-0 if they capitalized on these easy goals.
