I don't remember much of the series against Calgary, but against Anaheim I agree with you. I don't think the Wings could've played any better that series. Giguere stopped like 35+ shots against them, stealing every game. Hell, that first game where they went into triple overtime he stopped something like ~65 SOG and only allowed 1. Very unfortunate for the Wings.

My favorite player as a kid, I literally said the same thing as Blood On The Ice when the Wings got Dom. I was so happy that my favorite player was a part of my favorite team.

I can do the Weekly Strikes at 28 and Nightfall solo, but the Vault of Glass raid is impossible solo AFAIK. The lowest you *could* do the VoG is with two people, but technically they needed a 3rd person to join mid raid in order to advance them through a certain part that required 3 people to unblock the next area. But even then, those two people that posted their achievement on reddit were very good and coordinated. My take on the game so far is it started out fun, but I'm now at the point of having nothing left to do due to lack of content. All I do is complete the weekly strikes and nightfall on my characters and then that's it until the next reset. There were 6 of us that were going to do the raid but we're either playing CSGO or they just haven't been on, so I got that to look forward to still whenever we decide to do it. I guess getting raid gear is the only way to reach light level 30 so I've been saving my ascendant shards for whenever I get those.

Guess I'll hold off getting an One for another year...

I knew I forgot a game (or two rather). I wanted both Payday and Payday 2 but forgot about them during the sale. Meh, they just would've been sitting there for awhile anyways. The titles I bought this year were Metro Last Light, Wolfenstein (can't remember if it was on sale or not since it's fairly new), Nether and I think I'm forgetting one or two more. And yes, I'll get around to playing them (hopefully)

Blashill would probably be my top choice, although I wonder if Fischer would be a good candidate as well. That may be, but imo I think it's more to do with evaluation from the new GM and if that current coach fits his vision/philosophy-- which usually results in the coach being fired anyway. I understand it's a business, but I wish teams would at least not screw over coaches like that.

Honestly, I'm for the change.Kind of excited for it actually. Like Wingsalltheway said, the bias won't be the case for a video game where they'll have to read lines given to them instead of improving on the fly during live games. Plus, I kinda wanna hear "DRIIIIIIIIIIVE!" Emerick every time I take a slapper. And, strangely, I must admit I'm a little disappointed that McGuire won't be added in there instead of Ferraro. Can't get the whole band in there, EA? With that said, I'll be turning off everything except the rink and crowd sound after awhile. I feel more immersion listening to the crowd and player chatter/skating while playing. Plus, aside from the redundancy, it gets annoying hearing multiple voices over chat, arena announcer, and the commentators.
