That's true. I will say that if the Red Sox rotation players return to what they were a couple years ago, same with Papelbon, nobody will beat them. But for now, they look like the best offensive team in the league right now. Pedroia, Gonzalez, Crawford, Youkilis, Big Papi....oh Lordy. Imagin if they were able to keep Martinez.

The funny thing about our predicament is that say we do get a lottery pick, well everything that I'm reading is that this draft class isn't really as strong with top-heavy talent like you usually see every year for the first 3-5 picks or so. Of course that could change, but for right now this team looks to be headed to being a bottom feeder for a few years.

Well there goes Crawford. http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/mlb/news/story?id=5901372 Didn't think he'd sign with the Red Sox; I thought he'd be an Angel most likely. Big payday for him, though. Hopefully we resign Maggs now.
