I looked it up and the over/under is 64. I don't know, I just have a feeling it's going to be under. How good is State's run game? Either way they're balanced enough to sustain long drives on our D, and while Denard was able to do anything he wanted with Indiana's defense (and everybody else's for that matter), you have to think that State's defense could do a couple stops better. This game feels like a one-possession win for State, like 31-27 or 34-28. Also not in our favor: our special teams. Good Lord, it's horrible. Here's to hoping I'm wrong and it's more in our favor with the higher scoring, getting the breaks that we need to get the win.

Further proves that their classless idiots that need to be punched in the mouth to learn a lesson? I don't like it when their attitude is "Oh, we're not going to win so lets go after their star players." It doesn't bother you that they were purposely taking shots at Zetterberg and then purposely going after Datsyuk to fight? Our two best players? I'm not an enforcer slappy or anything, but I do believe D and Z's teammates need to butt in when stuff like this happens.

Good start for the Wings here. The team looks refreshed, fast and sharp. The wizardry between Datsyuk and Zetterberg is enough to make you wanna slap your momma, and boy, loved the hit Stuart put on Fairy!

I know man me and my boi were chest bumping and screaming "YEEAAHHHH!!!" when those girls were announcing everybody. I'm in the f***in zone now.

Indiana's defense is also s*** tier compared to State's. All I will say is if State can keep my boy 'Nard Dog and the team under 27-28 points, then they win. Although, last year they had the perfect gameplan against us and beat us at home, and they will use the same strategy this year too, as they should. The longer you keep Nard Dog off the field and keep the scoring low, the best chance you have at winning, and with our defense, they have a very good chance at winning again. I wonder what the over/under is on this game... 70-something? High 60's?

It's not like we were going to make the playoffs anyways, but being 1 possession from winning 3 of our last 4 games? Against 3 playoff teams and the resurging Bears? Without our starting QB? Hell, if Hill would've finished those last two drives against Minnesota we could've won that game too. This team is definitely good, but still hasn't figured out a way to put together a win. They remind me of Dallas in terms of trying to figure out how to win a playoff game; the talent is there, but other teams just seem to "get it" and they don't, although they finally got a win last season. All the talent is there for the Lions, just have to solve the puzzle before they can start consistently putting a string of wins together...baby steps. I look to this Sunday to grab our first win and finally shut those idiot Rams fans up from all the bulls*** I've been reading about their team from other forums. The line is Lions -3 and I guarantee we cover that and then some.

I always thought the thread was posted on Thursday, since I remember taking a day to figure out my picks. Hopefully I stay with it this year. Had a late start last season and was progressing a couple spots every week, but eventually lost interest since I was more focused on football pics.
