Wow. Talk about bad sources. Maybe Wilson is looking to co-own the Pistons after all.

I think it has to do with a stronger structure within the organization, not that it's lacking thereof or anything, but to make sure we're doing things the right way for a very long time and everyone's one big happy family. But anyways, this is good news for the Red Wings as Wilson was the sole reason the Pistons were the best marketed and was a highly valued team in the NBA. I'm afraid he'll probably have more responsibility on the plate since it seems like he'll be controlling more than just the organization venues and plans for a new arena, but I'm sure certain he'll do fine. After he resigned, I read an article on MLive linked from a PistonsForum thread about there being rumors of Wilson talking to groups about the possible purchase of the Palace, since Karen Davidson is looking at selling it, which could be a reason why Dumars didn't want to get rid of any players before the trade deadline without knowing the future of the team, being up in the air and all. Wilson couldn't comment on it (this is before finding out Illitch hired him), but like others said above, perhaps Illitch is thinking about buying the Pistons as well? I don't know though, I just hope something is figured out with the Pistons because I love all of my Detroit teams, and I certainly hope Illitch buys them because the Pistons future is certainly up in the air right now. Add to that the losing they've gone through, more booing at the Palace than I've heard in a long time and just a bad product on the floor, right now it doesn't look good for them.

SCOOOOOOOOORE!!!! RAFFI!!! -
I'm starting to get into it. I never understood it before, thought it was boring, and just didn't care for it at all in the past and didn't think it had a place in Olympic sports, but the more they show it since I'm forced to watch it before a hockey game comes on, the more I started to like it. I love the strategy involved.

2010 Winter Olympics - Saturday Games (Norway/Switzerland, Latvia/Slov

Good play by the Swiss, won 5-4 in OT. Norway's defense pretty much had a brainfart at the end there. -

Anybody watching this Switzerland/Norway game? Norway just tied it up 4-4, pretty exciting stuff. -
Math failed me that time lol, 2-3-2 sounds much better. It would really suck if you didn't have home-ice advantage my way. So we do a 2-3-2, and perhaps have 2-3 days inbetween travel, 1 day between the home games.

Perhaps with him being older and different (idk) and going to the Red Wings, the locker room will change him? I really think Jagr would fit well in this system offensively (great puck control and uses his body very well), and can perhaps pick it up on the defense a little better. But offensively he'd pick up where Hossa left off IMO. Perhaps being in a locker room with Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, etc., his mindset will be different than it was with teams in the past.
