I thought he looked more NHL ready. He played well, fought for possession, had some nifty moves, created a couple scoring chances and looked good all around. I hope he keeps it up in GR, because I'd like to see him in a wings uni again soon.

1. Ryan Getzlaf 2. Chris Perry 3. Jordin Tootoo 4. Dustin Byfuglien 5. Can't think of a 5th. I guess Mike Green or George Pyrros. I like Pyrros a little more based on his mustache alone, so prolly Mike Green. -
I agree. He has 3 goals in 32 games right now, but if he was with Datsyuk I'm certain he would be leading the league in goals. Helm must've played a mean prank on Babcock to deserve 3rd line minutes with pylons.

Since I'll round up 2 more games, statistically he's on pace for 2 goals, 28 assists, obviously. If he can step it up in the second half of the season, I estimate he could end up finishing around 7-10 goals and 35-40 assists. That wouldn't be bad for an old-timer. BTW, how soon are we to seeing Kronwall return? -
Exactly. With the product we have on the ice right now, if they can't score on a 4-on-3 and a 5-on-3 and are something like 2 of their last 25 on the PP, there's no special formula that the coach can just try that'll change our system to score more goals. It all comes down on the players to execute, and right now we don't have enough talent to do that. We just have to keep playing the way we are and grind it out until we get more talent back from the IR.

I wish Abs could inject himself with DMacKocurProbert DNA and steroids so he could be big enough to take on Getzlaf, Perry and Parros at the same time. He'd be the only player in a Wings uniform wearing a red cape too.
