Black Monday. I will say we should thank Schwartz for at least changing the culture somewhat and making the team at least competitive. I'm just surprised their record wasn't better now considering how fast he and Mayhew made the team competitive.

I thought the team was disciplined this season compared to the past (from the standpoint of not being penalized on the field as much and not getting in trouble off the field). That's the one improvement I'll give. With that said, I'll be very surprised if Schwartz and Co. are retained. If I had it my way I'd fire Linehan but after 5 seasons + how this team choked away the division, maybe it's best just to clean house. As long as Linehan's gone. When you think about it, this team is a coaches dream. They have: A franchise QB, best receiver in the league, lines built on both sides very well, lots of other talent. This team is definitely better than 7-9, so hopefully the front office chooses the next coach wisely to get the most out of this team.

That was my favorite game of the season so far. The crowd was amazing, non stop cheering and the team played with a lot of energy.

As for the topic at hand: There's still a small window for the Lions to make the playoffs thanks to the Bears/Packers matchup. But will the Lions win their last two? I'll just say that it's more probable that they won't make it in this year again. I'll be looking forward to some coaching changes, not necessarily Schwartz but I wouldn't be upset if he was canned, but I'm more looking at Linehan. I just can't stand his body of work for this offense.

I don't own one yet but from what I read, you'll need an adapter to use the 3mm(?) jack for headsets because their new controllers have a new socket, which is probably patented. Now whether or not they supply the adapter with the system is something I don't know, but I'm assuming they will (and should).

Mickey even pointed it out last night that it was a fluke incident. Ken Daniels on the other hand, well, let's just say it further solidifies some of our hunches that he visits this site because he was pretty adamant that Quincey "could very well be suspended".

I didn't see any hitting whatsoever. Quincey engaged him, Getzlaf's skate caught a rut and awkwardly went into the boards. 9 times out of 10 that doesn't happen to Getzlaf, and he'd peel off him because he's bigger and stronger.

I made the same face Brick made after he killed a guy with a trident when I seen that hit on Getzlaf.

I still have my guard up against the Lions. So not taking a commanding lead in the division, against easy opponents, and with the Bears and Packers missing their best quarterbacks, AND losing in fashion like they did on primetime television last night, it's very typical of this team to drop down to third in the division. "Same ol' Lions." I did find it funny though that Rodgers sent a thank you to Tucker for kicking that game winning field goal.

By looking at those lines, would you take that team seriously? The sarcasm is pretty thick my friend.

He seems to be doing OK offensively for the Griffins. But he played so defensively when he was at ND, his offensive potential was going to be quite the project to develop for the next level. I'm hopeful for an Abby-like game from him as well.

Hopefully he plays better than his last call-up.
