Well Nyquist can't be sent down anymore without losing him to waivers, so he's a Red Wing full time now. Jarnkrok is now the top prospect.

It definitely shows a perspective to fans that it takes a lot of brainpower for many of the professional individuals in any sport to study game film and apply it in real time. Especially in a sport such as hockey that's so fast paced, forcing the player to think fast. It's really amazing to me how some players like Lidstrom just "got" stuff like this and made it look easy.

Jarnkrok played conservative and didn't want to take risks on offense until he got comfortable with the smaller ice area. With his scoring lately I'd say things are starting coming together for him. Blashill praises the way he plays. The two-way game is there, he just needs a little more strength and a little more experience. Also, KH should trade for Elias Lindholm so he can play with his cousin in the future

I wonder who would have started between him and Rask in the olympics if Rinne played the whole season? -
Technically, since you could be right by season's end, I'll admit that I'm wrong since I said they'd finish top 3, but I will say I believe they're a top 5, if not still a top 3 team. The race is tight, and a 3-4 game swing could put them anywhere from 3rd to 13th. Losing Zetterberg for the remainder will obviously hurt, but Howard has to play better or else we wouldn't even be talking about this.

Not a fan of the pick. I think they should go with Sammy Watkins and bomb stretch passes for him to catch and skate into the zone with. He'll change the way the game is played in the NHL. -

He's a ******* all star. -
This loss was tough to swallow. I really, really liked this USA team and I feel really bad that they couldn't win gold this olympics. I watched the game with my father and once the clock ran down to 0.0, I had to quickly flip through the channels to watch anything else to keep my mind off of it, and found one playing the movie Predator. Congrats to team Canada for being the better team once again.
