So it's perfectly normal for someone to bump this thread that was back on page 4 or 5 after a bad game, then claim they didn't have any ill intentions or motive to conveniently bump the thread? I'm calling bull s***. When people act stupid, they need to be told they are stupid. This person could have showed some class and apologized and admitted they were wrong and wanted attention. Here's my perspective. I'd rather see Red Wings make the playoffs because they are contenders and playings solid hockey by winning games, not because other western teams are playing bad and losing points to the east. Just my opinion.

Whoa did you decide not to watch hockey anymore? Eaves is part of the hardest working line on the Red Wings. You don't break up the "Afterburner" line to see what some 25 year old, average skating AHL player will do. Eaves, Helm, Draper line has been our hardest working and the biggest thorn in the opposition's side line on the ice. Eaves' has proven he can PK too, which is helping our PK stats out big time. Glad you're not someone in the Wings organization who makes decisions.

Whoa, Osgood's playing good. Why does that make you mad? Nobody is talking about Defense. But I do agree the defense is playing better. That said, look how many shot's Osgoods faced, and came up big. At times the D does still have issues clearing the puck and giving up bad break aways. Thankfully Osgood was there to cover them, as he should. Don't be mad that Osgood is playing like he is capable of.

More examples that you're logic is flawed. 1). Peguins are in the East. The East is bush league compared to the West. 2). Granted, there are a couple good teams in the East. Non of which the Penguins played. Look at their schedule. Penguins are playing weak teams and have lost to the tough games (Coyotes--Pens had a healthy roster and Kings). Penguins are not fairing well against good teams. So again, you are refusing to look at the facts and want to jump-up-and-down like a little school girl saying "Penguins are winning. Wait, so Penguins fans' can tell Red Wings to get over it for losing in the finals, injuries is all part of the game and the better team won. But here you are using injuries as an excuse. So if Penguins win, they are the better team, but if Penguins lose, it's because of injuries. Gotcha.

All it takes for the Penguins to get beat is by some decent western teams. Sabres and Caps (pre-Ovi) are playing well in the east, but Penguins have faced neither of them. They'll get schooled by the Sabres you watch. San Jose will school the Penguins tomorrow. The Penguins are only winning because they have been playing weak teams. Put them up against a few good team, they'll flop... like they did last nights 5-2 loss against the Coyotes.

Last time I checked, correct me if I am wrong, but the starting goalie is "part of the team". Please correct me if I am wrong. That said, all teams have some kind of weak link... What is the most critical weak link? The last line of defense; the goaltender. During the playoffs Osgood is far from the "weak link" (1.55 GAA / 2.01 GAA : back-to-back years). So the Wings are not going to make the playoffs now? Lol. You've gone and lost your damn mind. Your first argument is hockey is a TEAM sport ( "teams gets to the finals, not goalies" ), then your second argument is blaming "OSGOOD" for the losses (and you are already blaming Osgood for missing the playoffs - it's only November lol). Not mentioning the fact that team defense has had issues clearing the puck, the team's issue with giveaways, the break aways, sloppy faceoffs early on, the lack of team effort in the 1st period.
