I think that's a part of it, but it's also experience. Aside from Sammy, how many players on their team have ever done ANYTHING in the playoffs? Not many.

But of all their other D men, the Kings are going to dump the most salary on Doughty. We won't be able to match what they will give him. Lid's 6mil freed will be nothing. He'll get at LEAST 8m with a cap of probably 6. They'll do a long term deal, I'd bet on it.

This is pretty much what I think too. When McCollum is ready, Ozzy will have to go. By that time, Howard will have a lot more experience and will be solid as a starter. My worry comes in about 2015ish. With both McCollum and Howard being full-time NHL'ers, who are we going to keep, and who will go?

He has no defensive abilities whatsoever, so we can only help that he improves his defensive game.

Honestly, I'm surprised he is at 4th. For a long time there, he looked so disinterested in the game, especially when it was practically him and a bunch of AHL'ers.

My wife and her family are from Chicago, and her dad is a hardcore Hawks fan, from back in the early 60's. So, while she is kind of a Hawks fan... even she hates how Hawks fans are acting. She liked the Hawks TEAM... but not their fans. And living with her, I began to like the Hawks TEAM as well. Besides, Quenville has always been my favourite non-Wings coach. Seeing as he's from Windsor, like me. She's more of a White Sox fan anyways, but we've made an agreement that I'll watch White Sox games with her(and I loathe baseball... it's so slow) and she'll watch Wings games with me. Even she thinks Zetterberg is hot though...

Ah, it was Boston he played those two years for. It seems that Adams was the reason that he lost some of what he was. Forcing him to lose weight seemed to have really effected him. And I didn't know he played for LA for a season. I think it's sad, because they HAVE the history there. The guy who wrote that probably didn't even know who the Blackhawks were 5 years ago.

Yea, I would love to have Keith on the Wings. The Hawks are lucky, they're copying the Wing's mold with clones of our players.

Logically yes, but almost (if not all) of the Canadian teams sell out every single game without fail.

The part I hate the most is they put him up there, but the best, young leader in the game is Toews. The kid is an Yzerman clone. Instead they market this kid so much that he must believe his own hype. I bet he actually believes that no one in the league is anywhere near as good as him... and when someone like Z owns him, he gets pissed.

NICE! I think two new teams would be ok, because I think the talent level is better now than it has been. People are comparing now to the 80's or prior, but they forget that the equipment has changed, the game has evolved. A 4th liner today, could have been a first liner back then. There were so few amazing goalies. I watch highlights from those days, and half the goals scored would rarely, if ever go in on a decent goalie now.
