Meanwhile Halak is looking like a god? He's been the backup and never showed he was better than Price. The defence is the same from game 3 and game 4 from round one, but Price got killed, Halak didn't.

Eaves and Miller have some scoring ability, and that makes an awesome 3rd line with Helm's speed.

Price is Raycroft. The guy is crap, and is GONE from Montreal. He'll probably end up be a backup goalie for somewhere like Anaheim and never be heard from again.

I'd also like a 3rd line that can score Bert - Dats - Mule (Net man, playmaker, shooter) Homer - Z - Flip (Net man, shooter/playmaker, playmaker) Hudler - Abs - Cleary (Shooter, tough guy, net man) Eaves - Helm - Miller/Ritola (Speed, Eaves & Miller provides some skill) - Ritola (Draper rotating) I don't trust Ritola yet, so I'd like him to rotate with a guy we KNOW can play, which is Miller. Defence should always be one O man, one D man Lids - Kron Raffi - Stuart E - Lilja(OR Janik) Kindl I do not think Kindl is good. No defensive abilities at all. When he DOES play, I'd want him with Stuart, who is very defensive.

Luongo is a fantastic goalie. He is not really their biggest problem. He doesn't get any rest at all during the season, and they had a hard season, AND he played Olympics. As for Vancouver, while I was living there, I tried to tell some fans what their problem was. Luongo is like Brodeur back in the 90's. Amazing goalie. But Vancouver hasn't clued in to what NJ did. They need a Scott Stevens. Their backend is weak from top to bottom. They're a typical EC team, in the WC. All about scoring, forget about Defence.

The VS guys are usually not Wings fans, and while their bias against Detroit is never HUGE, they even mentioned through the series that the reffing was horrid.

Not only were BOTH teams terrible, the reffing was awful. That call on Heatley was bad, and there were several diving calls that we got hit against.

I always notice it. There seem to be a bunch teams that the announcers have to love. Chicago, LA, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Anaheim, Edmonton, Washington. In the MTL/Wash games, there was a lot of MTL bias though.

Bah, we got screwed when we did play alright. Come out with hunger on Sunday, win both back home.
