Its like franzen has no ability to get pumped up. The guy hasn't played with passion in so long. I haven't seen him take over a shift for years now. I wish I could smack some sense into him. -

I'd like to see something like Tatar + Emmerton + 2nd rounder for Gormley. Bogosian would cost us something like Filppula + Tatar + Kindl/Quincey.

Great for Brunner to get one in. Won't feel cursed anymore. Huskins looked alright. I think he should be paired with smith. Smith looked good but tried to do too much out there at times. Datsyuk didn't really play great until he was split from Z. Lashoff looked alright. Nyquist didn't impress much. Which I really hoped he would. All in all I think we were stood up by a great goalie - a bit tired from back to back games, and the additions of Helm and Bert should lift this team.

Nice that Pierre listed our top prospects like that. Too many homers on hfboards claiming wings prospects are overrated. I think we look decently rugged out there even without helm. I like this.

I agree. Z scored 40 on the wing a while back. I think its more just for Brunner for now. Eventually they will get chemistry too and you will see different combos.

I think Tootoo should start every game from now on. Just set the tone. Bring the boom and let teams know we aren't getting pushed around.
