would be nice if blue won. id like to see this: Van (1) Blues (2) Wings (5) Chi(6) Out of all the teams to come out of the match ups I still think that the wings match up better against the blues than chicago or vancouver or san jose.

The more I think about it the more I feel as though eaves is a huge part of this team that we are missing. Imagine if we had that one more guy to take the pressure off on the PK and take some of the wear and tear of the bottom guys. Maybe keep Z and dats off the PK and cleary could have gotten healthy. He's just such a utility guy that is in my mind sorely missed. with eaves in the lineup this season we could have been in a much better spot going into the playoffs. -
honestly if you add a healthy helm and add eaves (for PK especially) to the mix I'd really feel confident of going far but helm isn't 100% and eaves won't be back. I still cheer 150% for the wings every night but its crazy to just ignorantly call ourselves the favourite or anything - thats not what fans are supposed to do.

on a more awesome note: helm may be back for game one if babcock has his way. helm says game 2 for sure pretty much not ruling out game 1. Babs said helm was ready to him. lol. -

who plays center on your fourth line? dump cleary (makes a lot for a 4th liner) and add andersson to the mix.

we can definitely win this series if we put in the effort. this isn't a mismatch like the sharks, we aren't historically bad against the preds and should win this series.

for future reference. not sure if ur spell check is ******* you but its spelt parise, suter, weber. and if we get one of parise or suter I will be ecstatic. holland had let me down so often that just one of those guys would cause me to joypuke my face off.

at least sheahan can cycle and take a check. he looks strong with the puck. if we could morph sheahan and nyqusit's good attributes you would have a pretty great player.

if nyquist can put on some weight and take checks along the boards more effectively he will become a dominant player. looks really good out there when not being checked to the ice.

the only thing i see with sheahan right now is it looks like he only skates hard in the ozone. might just be trying to avoid getting in people's way in his first game. but he looks dope down low.

holland was quoted as saying sheahan has the big body, good on face-offs, and a center. lets see what we have in him at this point.

lets do the yotes again. this year they don't even have bryz so we should be good to go in my eyes. means we have to lose and the yotes win. oh, and remember we were able to beat LA with conks and a depleted lineup with quick in net. so we could match up well.

pathetic that he was fined for speaking his mind. its not like he ripped on the reffing or put doubt in the game itself. he was just calling out a bunch of pansies. not to mention its human rights to have freedom of speech. apparently you can't hurt people's feelings in the nhl without being fined.
