2 blatant trips missed on kronner and homer
-
sick site bro
-
nyquist looks unreal. really slippery and his passes seem to get through legs etc. one bad giveaway but oh well
-
I think you will see him jump up and down the lines in diff situations. If bert or franzen or hudler is playing poor you will see nyquist up there instead.
-
What about sproul and oulette? did i misread something?
-
love nyquist but if holland sent smith down you have to expect that when franzen is back he'll send nyquist back too....
-
kronner is listed as 6'0 190lbs and ian white is 5'10 191lbs. i think size could be less of an issue than you think in this case. if he comes close to 6 feet and 190lbs his size will not be what keeps him out of the nhl.
-
the deal was that almquist wasn't getting the minutes he needed in his other team and holland wants to see what he can do if he is given power play time and more minutes. it was felt that his potential was being wasted on his past team.
-
Smith will be up next season. I'm pretty certain. I can see Holland wanting to get Kindl and Ericsson some time to prove themselves before the offseason and he makes his decision for what to do with the defence. I think that this is just Holland giving guys another look and deciding who he will keep and who he will sell when the time comes to make decisions. We don't know if lids will be back and we don't know if holland will take a run at suter, but Kindl's trade value will be nothing if he doesn't come back from injury and play for the wings before being put on the market possibly this summer. Smith can wait just a little longer.

even worse than your method of weeding out bandwagon hawks fans was something I did in last year's playoffs to my friends who jumped on the vancouver bandwagon. I live in canada and as soon as the canucks made conference finals EVERYONE was a "lifelong nucks fan." I just asked them who Pavel Bure was and boom - nobody knew. Thats the definition of true bandwagon.
-
I dont know why but franzen's attitude about his injury is bothering me. Everyone else is suggesting that piet will let them know if they can play, wheras franzen seems to just self diagnose. Cleary is playing with one knee and Z has played a lot over the years with back problems. Just seem like everyone is working hard to get back and help a struggling team and franzen just doesnt give a s***.

Which team would piss you off the most if they won the cup?

In no order: chicago, vancouver, san jose, pittsburgh -
Kindl. Book it and prepare to be disappointed

So who could the Red Wings get in the offseason?

Lol when did i sugget those guys? I was thinking a griff or a ufa scorer if holland mans up. -

Because he hasnt played over 74 games in a season for the wings and the last two years missed significant time with injury. -

K well if u wanna see homer sit in the press box he can return. Hes not contributing enough anymore. Cleary is going to have continuing injury issues and should be traded imo. There are players available for less money that are more effective now. Hudler is pathetic. He should be gone. -

Not sure what will happen with the cap so im not gonna speculate players we will acquire. But here are a few things we can control that i want to see: Homer retires Cleary traded (not worth 3 mill and aging) Hudler gone Smith up full time Nyquist up full time top 6 -
One bright spot was nyquist again. I know he got gun-shy on the 2 on 1 but he makes really smart plays along the boards and opens up space around him. Just wait until he gains strength like Z and he will be dominating out there.
-
howard better be sure the next time he comes back because the way conklin played, teams might claim him when he is sent down and then we will have only pearce.
-
i feel like bert and hudler's attitude towards playing minimal defence and not back checking is contagious and datsyuk caught it.
-
dats was barely close to himself out there.
-
Well f*** can't blame Z
-
f*** DATSYUK
-
f*** dats looks slow. he's been really off today.
-
holy f***
