i'm now almost sure kenny will make a trade to bolster our d.... sure, it means an overpayment in assets most likely. but at least its not an overpayment in Cap on the FA market as the guy would have an existing contract. If he wants a guy at a reasonable cap hit with youth, it'll most likely involve a trade now that all the UFAs have been picked over. he won't offer sheet anyone following his history. it seems like a trade or we go into next season looking real shaky at the back.

one thing id like to see change next season is less cycling of the bottom line guys. everyone agrees that mursak should be a regular and so should abby. With miller in, i see him being very unhappy sitting again this season, it was an awkward situation last season and would only get worse. if richards isn't signed i see us grabbing a top 6 winger and still having this problem with the bottom line. who would be a better option for the 14th spot? I totall agree on this. Smith will be ready next year at the latest. No need for both Hoff and wiz. Richards at 7.2 or lower would bolster our team bigtime. Take some scoring pressure off z and data. The better teams like sj have 3 top guys that makes it impossible to contain everyone all the time, that's why they end up on top IMO.
