Honestly, I don't want to do this anymore with Babcock. He is just so frustrating and doesn't make any smart lineup choices. I'm not excited to make Babcock the highest paid coach in the NHL that busts my nuggets every night when he puts helm and abby in the top 6 and juggles the d pairs every night. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Learn that babs.

Mantha/Alfie/Pulks Nyquist - Weiss - Franzen Tatar - Sheahan - Jurco Abby - Helm - Glendening Miller Andersson Kronwall - Smith Dekeyser - Ouellet Ericsson - Quincey Lashoff Do this and just leave it there until it inevitably works. Get Weiss going, leave Helm and Abby on the 4th and keep them there. Let the kid line do its thing.

We take the lamest shots on the pp. we pass it around - realize we haven't shot then take some useless shot from the point that gets blocked. We need an end game on the pp. At least some sort of goal - like trying to get it low or moving the goalie laterally. right now we are just treading water.

Does babs even watch the games from the bench? He uses every combo of players for the top 6 except the ones where helm and abby aren't in them.

We are wasting our depth. We should be loading up our talent in the top 6.

they can't move them down though because we have AHLers on our 4th line for PK purposes. I don't see why we can't just work on the PK with some new faces - get Helm, Abby, Sheahan comfortable in the new PK system and have them PK regularly as opposed to Miller, Andersson.

I think the only reason we haven't seen much change in the lineup is that they don't want to mess with the PK. Andersson isn't going to do much 5 on 5 and neither is miller. They push Helm and Abby up the lineup into the top 6 which is where they absolutely don't belong.

Guys our lineup makes me want to cry... Kindl is so bad and we have so many options in GR. Nestrasil isn't doing anything and Weiss is rotting in the press box. We need some consistency in our lineup without shuffling ever 2 shifts. We really need one more top 6 forward... Could be Alfie, could be Mantha, could be Pulkkinen. This lineup would have so much depth. Helm isn't a top 6 player and neither is Abby - they would dominate the 4th lines though. Zetterberg - Datsyuk - ??? That contract was pretty dumb. 2 years was stupid. We only have room for 1 year max. He and Kindl need to be gone after this season if we are going to become a cup contender
