I'm confused - did feaster not blow it up enough? the entire point was to tank and draft high. He should have been fired before the rebuild so the new GM had those picks - not much has changed since the draft until now. -

f*** even I'm embarrassed and I wasn't on the ice... next game SO lineup: Miller, Abby, Emmerton. If we are going to lose every SO id rather let these guys get some spotlight time. -

I don't like the Bert- Fanzen combo - Franzen plays best with guys who bust their asses. -
With Richards' history of under performing on a big deal I find it hard to believe ANY contender will give him a long term deal. I assume he wants to go to a contender...

Up until the new TV deal it could have been possible to get one of those guys - but with the sharp rise in cap they will retain them (they got lucky). I do like the idea of Richards on a 1-2 year deal if we buyout Weiss (i know it can't be a compliance buyout). I also think it would be possible to trade him still as he really just doesn't seem to fit our system more than anything. We need a talented stop gap at 2C until Jarnkrok is ready.

This is such a makeup suspension for the datsyuk hit. This wasn't nearly as bad in my eyes. Girgensons managed to keep himself up after the hit even - indicating he didn't get rung too bad.

At this point we are better off without him. He will be able to get his head and body straight and come back fresh later. Maybe watch our system a bit more and see how other centers position themselves on the ice and actually skate. -
