Wow, just wow. I saw the game against STL tonight and I feel disappointed. I personally think that if some player will not step up a level, we’ll not do the playoffs this year!! We played against an inferior team and we scored 3 lucky goals, powerplay 0 of 4, 42 shots on goal but few of them dangerous… We were outplayed, especially in the 2nd period, where we had to be 100% Need to improve: Cleary: often ineffective, need to create more Bertuzzi: Until the end of January he provided many points, but now his production is decreased Zetterberg, Pasha: they started scoring goals, that’s good, but in many shifts they aren’t as good as they could and should be. Rafalsky: his point production is too low, he need to improve! Defensively he is still a good player (6 millions/year is actually too much) Ericcson, Lebda: disappointing season, they should be waived to make room for Lilja. The 4th line (Maltby and May): all should be sent down in the minors!!! Where is the grit, where are the hits?? Abdelkader should be called back!! Comment please!!!

low round picks or joung players to send down to the griffins...
-
In think that Ericcson and Lilja play the same style of hockey... Ericcson has struggled all season long!! Moreover the Red Wings have too many struggling defencemen!!! Trade Ericcson and Lebda!!!
-
Williams should not be traded... he is good in the power play and moreoverwe have 3 defensemen that can be traded (Meech, Ericcson, Lebda ...) Holland will never give away another forward...

Wow... just wow. Is someone able to find a snapshot that shows the puck after the line??? I'd like to know who, in Toronto, decided to allow that goal !!!! Too many times the Red Wings has been penalized (last year Malkin instigator, Brad May's goal, Holmstrom's goalie interferences etc)...
-
Noooooooo way.... the puck never crossed the f***ing line!!!!
-
if the officials cannot see the puck after the red line they can't allow the goal (fundamental hockey's rule)...

I'm sure that the Wings will do the playoffs, but will they be able to reach, at least, the conference finals? Personally, I think we are getting older and older and if we don't do any changes, next years will be more and more difficult to do well... Discuss please...

schneider is too old... we need joung players. Don't forget that last year we did not resigned chelios... I prefer see Meech, Ericcson and ( Lebda )
-
Kovie will never be a red wings... too expensive...
-
We'll have about 5 millions availables... it depends if Berts, Williams, Eaves will be resigned and ow much!! I hope Kenny will find a joung 2nd line forward... Frolov???

Personally I don't think that the 3-point system is a good idea. The reason is very simple: there will be a bigger points difference between the teams...

Deveraux is doing pretty well in the swiss league, unfortunately he got hurt during a game, he will be out at least 2 month. As a wings fan and Swiss, it's nice to see him playing in the swiss league In my opinion Leino is a good addidion (especiallly for the next years), he is joung and as a consequence not consistent, but he will grow up and he will do well.
