Nashville doesn't have a Back-up signed yet. Maybe we could send them maybe we send them Tootoo, Quincey, and monster for a decent young defenseman?? Sending off those three players would clear over 7M in cap space, minus what we pay the guy they sent us. Leaving plenty of room to sign a backup (Thomas ) or bring up Mrazek. Then sign Nyquist.

Even if Helm is out we have enough good wingers in the top 6 for Abby to come back down, and play center.

I read that he didn't skate in the 2nd session yesterday, and he wont play in the scrimmage today. I really hope he can play this year.

He made a sequence of saves all right in a row with about 5:30- 6:00 left in the game. I said to myself, this kid might have just won the game for us. I hope he can continue to improve, and keep getting good game time like he is. This guy is hopefully going to be awesome in the future for the Wings.

Not too bad. Kind of reminds me of the Whalers. The "D" is a little too much like Anaheim for me too. Their older jerseys with the star integrated into the shape of the jersey was awesome. One of my fave jerseys, They could have just went back to that style with the green from the North Stars, and they would have been perfect.

We have been waiting for this guy to get healthy for 2-3 seasons now. Sadly i think its time we just let him go. There are plenty of guys our young talent can learn from (Dats, Z, Kron) I don't think he fits anywhere on our top 2 lines, and he just doesn't have the body left to bang on the 3rd 4th. This guy is the definition of guts, a kind of warrior that you don't see too much anymore. I just don't like the idea of keeping guys around for too long, especially when we have so many guys in GR chomping at the bit to get up to the big show.

If it comes down for Chi, and Pitt... I hope a stadium collapses in them. Hopefully in Chicago, those fans need to go.

I said this at the beginning of the season. Make him play 3rd line CENTER, He would have to be more involved, and he would have to play better two way hockey. Make this guy work. As for Filppula, I'm not sure we should keep him. He busted up his knee earlier this year, and that could have been what was holding him back all season. I just think for the money he is going to want we will have better options for a bigger better scoring winger.

I have a good friend that lives in Chicago. He's getting married this summer.... I have been waiting to send my RSVP.
