So if the islanders wanted him so bad why didn't they sign him in December when he first became a free agent?? Why wait till another team tries to pick him up, and then put a claim in??

i wish Crosby would get a shot like this. He always throws punches from the outside of a pile up. Id really like to see him get a good one.
-
Phx resign Bryzgolov yet?? lol
-
Because he would have to go through waivers again.
-
This would be awesome. I really hope they can get this done.

i saw the title of this, and almost s***.

Crap.

Hopefully we can keep this momentum for the rest of the game.

idk if that would be a good idea. The BS is already pretty deep on the boards over there.

Babcock needs to call another one of his silent timeouts. This team needs to wake up.

1st intermission... Time to grill some burgers!!

Good thing no one got hurt. We would of ended up with nets around the entire rink.

I have no more vacation time this year, or i would have been up there too.

The guy from NBC, not sure which one it is... He says waffle board around twenty times a game. "Howard waffle boards the puck into the corner" I want to punch him in the mouth every time he says it.

That's exactly what i was thinking.

YESS!! I have been trying to get Houston wings fans together for a couple years now. Especially during the playoffs. Every time i go to an Aeros game i see a ton of wings jerseys, so i knew i wasn't the only fan down here. I started a Houston area wings fan page on Facebook, but it only consists of me and a couple family members right now. Let me know when and where, and maybe we can get together for some games. I know the fox n the hound in the woodlands plays all the wings games during the playoffs. the manager there is from Detroit too.

anyone read this on det news.com?? it was at the bottom of an article about kronwalls knee surgery. Where's Maltby? Holland said he met personally with the unsigned, veteran forward Kirk Maltby on Wednesday. If Maltby wants to play with the Red Wings in 2010-11, Holland said, he would likely have to start in Grand Rapids. "Malts has been here for a thousand games, he's been here since 1994," Holland said. "I thought it was important that Kirk and I talk face to face. We've had an ongoing dialogue, since early June. I still think he's got some hockey left in him. But, obviously, we've got some good players, here, who are younger. "Things change, and so, I mean, that was the conversation," Holland said. "I'd like to sign him. In all probability, he's going to start out in Grand Rapids. But it's an 80-game season, and we saw the injuries we had, last year. And, you know, I think he has to decide what he wants to do." Kris Draper , who also arrived in Detroit in 1994 and has mostly played on the same line with Maltby, said he's not certain of his old friend's circumstances. "I haven't had a chance to talk to him, since the meeting," said Draper, who stood near Maltby's empty stall. "I'm not really sure what is going on. I just left him a voice mail and said the guys are wondering where you are and what's going on. You know, obviously, he is going to talk to his family and his agent, but if he needs a friend to talk to there's a lot of us here for him. "This is different," said Draper, who could face the same circumstances after this season. "You know, everyone is aware of what's going on. But the bottom line is, just reaching out as a friend you know everyone in this room is going to go through it sooner or later." One day i was riding my bike in a neighborhood a few miles from my house. I saw an older guy (i was about 13, so older meant maybe in his 30's) playing street hockey with a whole bunch of kids. Excited to have possably found a new group to play hockey with i rode by a couple times to check out the competition. For some reason The older guy playing looked really familiar to me, but i couldn figure out why, then it hit me... It was Dino Ciccarelli. I raced home, got my skates and stick in what seemed like under 5mins lol. I actually ended up playing with them a few times that summer. It was a whole lot of fun.
