For some reason it doesn’t take long for other teams to see what it takes us years to figure out. It’s crazy that when we finally decide to let these guys go, they don’t last long in the league.

Is Kane just here to collect a check? Those last couple minutes looked like he wasn’t even trying. -

He gave up on the puck. He wasn’t even on the right side of the net. -

We are playing the goalie that has a chance to get us a win tonight. LGRW!! -
What is going on here.

Chiarot is probably the worst player positionally I have ever watched. That is saying a lot since I play +40 roller hockey in Houston Texas.

Guess who gets the minus…

Bottom line is you need to play to the strengths of your roster. You cant have a team full of cats, and expect them to play like dogs. For SY to tell his coach what kind of system to play is kind of overstepping his boundaries. If he wants a team that plays a certain way, he needs to deliver a roster that is built that way.

They could probably bring him up to Det, then put him on LTIR retroactively after he has been injured for a certain amount of time, I think it's like 24 days.
-
Hopefully they take a few more penalties for us then.

This is normally where the other team adjusts, and we get out coached for the rest of the game. Hopefully we can hold on.

I don't feel good about this one. I see them almost doubling our shot total. 22-42. Im calling it 6-2 WPG. "The other teams have a lot of shots, but I think some of the shots were from the outside, and that's all right," Seider said. "Obviously, skill guys, top guys [in the NHL], they will have extended [offensive zone] time, and they will have their shifts in the [offensive] zone. But if we can keep them to the outside and have them really work to get to the inside, into the slot, I think we'll be fine, and then we can attack out of that."Obviously, it's very frustrating to play against a team who is just very solid, tight in their [defensive] zone, they're not giving up a lot of Grade A chances in the slot. If you keep them to the outside, our goalies will have all day to make those saves, and that's kind of what we expect." This type of mindset is killing us, you shouldn't coach your #1 defenseman to be okay with giving up tons of shots, especially if you cant clear the front of your own net.

I don't get it. We need players who can actually play defense, I didn't think Maatta was part of the problem.
