Im not totally sold on numbers when it come to backup goalies. They come in when games are usually already over (MTL) and the mindset of a team playing in front is different. The key to a good backup goalie is to keep you in games by make key saves, not making every save. The team needs to play better. Will be a good rest for Jimmy anyway on an otherwise easy part of the sched.

I think youre a little too hard on conks right now. Hes been playing pretty well lately besides the games in NYI and MTL when his team didnt show up. Big wins in chicago and in dallas. Im not worried about Conks play. edit: plus look at our schedule the next 2 weeks, which is about how long the finger will take to heal. 7 games, 5 at home. only good teams we play are philly (struggling lately) and NSH. Were going to be OK

Ive never had a relationship with a Alzheimers or dementia patient, so I cant relate. I just know what I hear, and that its a horrible disease. Unfortunate for anybody go through.

i dont think its necessary to save the octopi for playoffs, but at least the 2nd half of the season, which it is. So do it, but pick a good spot, after a goal, preferably in the 3rd when we seal the victory. Make sure you boil for everyones sake, including yourself. Ive found that boiling it for a while shrinks it significantly into softball size and its not slimey so it will keep your hands and ice clean. Just be smart.

ya what a stud. very dastyukian play to take the puck through the neutral zone then make a nice pass outside which leads to the original shot on goal. everytime i try to tell my friends how sweet hes going to be, nobody quite understands me yet. theyll see!

For a long time ive loved the music they play at wings game, and the timing of some of the songs. Just wanted to see if anybody gets as geeked as I do about it. Last night for example he played "I guess thats why the called it the blues" which was some of the funniest s*** ever. And the "All I do is win" song after the victories is great. And Kronwalls goal song "I cant drive, 55" is another great one. What are some your favs? (sorry for poor paragraph structure, as I am still wildly hungover from the game last night)

I would totally agree that Rask cant take them far in the playoffs. didnt he blow it big time a couple years ago? 15-11 in AHL playoffs 7-6 in 2010 NHL playoffs. under .500 last year regular season decent stats this year but theyre stacked.

ya the cajun one is horrible. the only show coming from the south should be swamp people. hardcore pawn is interesting only because of the people who go in there and flip out sometimes. pawn stars has way better stuff though.

Hilarious video. Both partys are to blame for sure. I think naturally people tend to flip out when touched in the face whether its a drink thrown at you, slap, punch, whatever. I think this guy just lost his cool for 1 second, which was long enough for that altercation to take place. Hes regretting it now.
