Don't be shocked when the new rink has equally good sight lines. Capacity will actually be about 2000 seats less so in theory all seats should be at least better than some seats at the Joe. There's no logical reason that wouldn't put an emphasis on sight lines. That's probably the single most important thing to designing a rink. -

Though we didnt exactly improve so far this off season, we didnt regress any either. This is a playoff team for sure, especially if we stay healthy. The plan for Legwand was never to resign. He was an emergency pickup when it was thought Helm would not be back (I think he came back a week later). But hes a goner. Mixed feelings on Alfie. Dude can play, and put up points, but hes getting old. Tough call, but I think we sign him.

If things are going sour in sj for Thornton, I think they could end up moving him for less than we think just to move that contract. They do look all like Stanley Cup banners, which would be insane. As far as the Lidstrom banner, it would be the the right of the Yzerman banner, which looks like its cut out by our 45th championships banner. Outside of that, real sick pic. Looks almost perfect.

Why does everything think that he can just poach all these guys in the wings organization (blashill, executives). Does he have a significant relationship with any of them? He never worked for the wings organization outside of being a player right?

Hilarious. It does seem to me he has cut the crap down significantly over the last couple seasons which is a start, but I dont know if hell ever recover (his reputation outside of pens fans) from his past acts. Should be a great first round.

playoffs are a lock now, but we gotta play for the 7 seed. We can take the pens first round right now, but we need the BJ's to beat on the bruins a little bit for us to have a shot. Another tight, and unnecessarily close game. 2-1 good guys.

Legwand is in fact from the burbs, went to Grosse Pointe North, my old high school (not bragging, just saying) -
Although we traded for Quincey for a first rounder, I dont see us getting one in return for him. I doubt were able to move him at all really. Kesler has been tossed around but I dont think its gonna happen, nor do I really want us to. We have enough forwards. The ticket (radio station in detroit) has been throwing Andy Mcdonalds name around for what thats worth (usually nothing). I would be happy with that or a similar move for a top 4 D.

I'd say it's not seasoned enough, because he probably is good enough to hang in that league, but not produce like he is right now.
