This one has been picking up some minuses, but how could you disagree? We needed these guys to bow out at some point, and these guys (Malts, Drap, Raffi, Ozzie) showed alot of class and humility when they decided to hang them up. Just because the guys who are replacing them havent shown what they can do yet, they will this season. They just need their chance. Im really looking forward to this season.

This account is usually pretty credible on rumors, at least they have so far. The only problem I see here, is that I dont believe there is anybody left we could be interested now that we have signed White and Commo. That leads me to think this is wrong. What do you guys think? Who else is even out there? Would it have to be a trade to get anyone else?

This really shouldnt be a surprise to anybody. 20 straight playoff seasons, countless division titles in that streak, and our last 2 captains were 2 of the most loved, and skilled players ever.

Not sure why, but that name and number look great on that photoshopped jersey. I have a feeling alot of people will take a liking to him once he gets here.

Too bad his name isnt john connor, like that one guy from hard knocks. We could use a terminator. If I remember right, he was all over the 24/7 show, and those guys (Shero and Bylsma) really liked him. Hopefully hes solid. I read he averaged about a point a game in the AHL.

Well with pretty much ever dman FA we wanted gone, is it safe to say this isnt going to be our year? Is Lidstrom sitting at home saying "f***, why did I sign that contract?" I think at this point the only way we are saving our D corps this year is if we make a trade (which id hate to see anyone leave except Huds). Or we need Smith and Ericsson to come out like mad men this season, but I dont believe either of them are ready for that pressure. f***...
