So often we complain about the wings getting screwed with the late start times on the west coast, but this saturday our early game could cause a problem for the yotes. I personally think it would be harder to get into your routine with an early game than it would be for a late game. What do you think?

The guy who got caught is on the WRIF right now giving his story. He says that "nhl officials" not even cops, arrested him. when the nhl guys told the cops to arrest him, they laughed at him. what a hilarious story.

What I meant was how hard is this going to be for the players on the yotes. I think the wings will be just fine.

Guys, theres no way this is true. First off, the ticket in the picture looks nothing like a ticket from DPS. The only references to DET is where it says Third/Jefferson for the location, which isnt even the right cross roads anyway. (third street is about a 1/4 mile south of the Joe) Also the part where the cop says Bettman made this decision during intermission to make it illegal. Theres no way this could be enforced simply by Gary making a phone call, and all the cops immediately being on board. Believe it or not, cops have brains and a conscious like we do, and I doubt they would enforce it out of nowhere. On top of that, I know the kid who threw his octopus during the anthem of Game 1 and I know he didnt get booted from the game, and he was on national TV for gods sake. Dont give this story any cred until we see this happening more, because im sure there will be more thrown.

The people who started the chant were on the ticket this morning, and they were a group of 20 college kids who got cheap tix on stubhub. They were pretty jacked about it, and I would be too if I were them.

So, I'm going to the game tomorrow, and really want to make sure I dont miss the opening ceremony. I believe in years past they would start it at game time (7pm game = ceremony starts at 7). So I guess my question is, do they post start times online anywhere, or should I just assume it will start promptly at 7 tomorrow. Also, while were on the subject, anyone know of what they are planning to do this year?

OK guys, my buddy finally got a hold of me last night about what time the show will start. He said 20 min. before puck drop, so ~6:40. So I would suggest getting there by 6:30 so you can make it to your seats. LETS GET IT DONE TONIGHT BOYS!!

agreed. I also think people are getting worried a little to early. This is only game 1 and probably game 2 he is going to miss. If we can win the first 2, im not worried until he misses game 5. I think having Z gone as opposed to Datsyuk gone is a bigger difference than everyone thinks, and less of a disadvantage to us. I think Dats has way more of an impact on the ice than Z does at times. Seeing some of the s*** he was doing on Sunday was ridiculous. We also do a better job in the neutral zone with Dats in the lineup, then we dont have to do that dump and chase garbage. EDIT: and by doing better in the neutral zone, I mean that defensively Dats is a better back checker, and he seems to be able to carry the puck through the zone better.

A buddy of mine I just talked to in the ticketing office said that last year they started approx. 21 minutes before the set game time. He's going to call me in a little bit to let me know the plan for this year, and I will then pass it on to you guys. I would assume it will be pretty much he same this year, but ill let you know.
