Nice post. Agreed with everything said here. Does this guy realize that this is year and last year (i think) are the first couple of seasons in a while where we havent had an enforcer? Weve had may, and downey around the last few years to help keep the cheap shots away. I believe the wings will have some enforcer type players coming up in abby (who also brings skill to the table) and callahan. nothing to worry about here. Im sick of these teams who come in with 4 roster spots of goons and think theyre the s***. ill take the banners over PIM all day long baby.

I think their lack of goaltending is a huge problem. Nittimaki and Niemi both are nowhere as good as Nobokov. The only reason anybody believes Niemi is good is because he had that ridiculous team in front of him last year. Hes SO overrated. Im also with Crymson, glad to see the sharks, and choke-show Joe struggle.

i dont think the caps can blame HBO for the losing streak, especially when the pens were on their winning streak. it sounds more like it was coincidental that the losing streak and filming were the same time. and how could they not do it again? i dont think there was a single hockey fan that didnt like the series. i mean, we all hate the pens it seems like, but we watched it and enjoyed it anyway. why not put the wings in there though? whats the worst that can happen? we got on an 8 game losing streak but still win the division and make the playoffs anyway? id sacrifice 2 weeks of heartache to get the back stage look on our players and their personal lives, the same players we love and cheer for every game.

question about the winter classic jerseys. do all of your WC jerseys appear that the D, shoulder patchs, and WC patches are glued on and not sewn on? i know typically this is a sign of a knockoff but it all looks pretty legit. it also looks like the poster above has similar glue job on his as well. also, forgive me for being lazy and not looking through the last 4 pages of this thread, but does sportsk do embroidery on the WC jerseys? mine is blank and i need a little 55 slapped on there. whats the cost?
