hopefully somebody can help me find a video im looking for. it was from the 96 or 97 season when the wings played the avs at the joe, im not sure if it was playoff or reg. season game. its a highlight of a tussle in front of the benches where chris simon slashed away doug browns stick from his hand while hes going for a change then didnt let him grab it. then draper came off the bench and slashed simons stick away and slid it over to the wings bench where keith primeau picked it up the proceeded to smash it on the ground and break it then throw it back on the ice. after that simon throws a water bottle at primeau. its no highlight reel, but it was pretty hilarious, just wish i could find it...

i would imagine macarthur is more valuable to his team though, especially in atl where they dont have much. niemi seems like hes easily replacable though. every goalie can get hot for a 20 game stretch. gotta remember he split time last year as well.

well they already said sharp is staying (which could be bs i suppose). I think niemi will come in around $2mil. if they decide arbitration on performance alone he wont get a terribly favorable ruling because of the team they have in front of him. if they drop kopecky they could probably get someone up from their system who will be cheap, although im not really sure who they have down there.

i hate carcillo with a passion, but thats a good thing. it pretty much means he does his job, which is to raise hell against the opponents. to be honest id be pretty jacked if he came to the wings and beat some ass for us.

besides games, i rarely wear my rafalski jersey eventhough its dope. but i never hesitate to wear my black "crosby sucks" wings jersey to the bar when im gettin blasted. everyone seems to appreciate it.

I think at a certain point Holland has to tell Stevie to stay the hell out of our business. I understand how much he has done for this team, but this is a business at the same time. We cant allow him to be picking apart our organization just because he is who he is. When McClellan left the wings for SJ we didn't just let him take people with him. Especially considering how Verbeek is a scout and he knows where to go and how to pick good draft picks in the 7th-8th rounds (no need to mention names). Our ability to draft well is a huge advantage we have over every team in the league. Quit falling for the Stevie Y charm!
