While getting my daily dose of espn.com this morning I noticed a headline in the "insider" only section talking about how Lebda may be leaving the wings at the end of the season. I was hoping maybe some people could chime in and give some more info on what his trade value will be, or when his contact will expire, or other info on what the deal is. If you ask me, id say it would be an alright move to release him. Right now its E and Lebda fighting for that 8th D spot and because they are equally effective on the ice I would say E's young age will be the deciding factor in whether or not we need Lebda. If the wings decide to carry that extra D man and rotate him, Id like to see a tough fighter come in to the mix instead of Lebda also. What are you thoughts?

on espn.com it says that game is at midnight. is this for real or a typo by espn? how can they even do that? even when we play in SJ the latest start is at 1030 and they are an hour behind pheonix. this could cause a huge problem for our team, its already hard enough to get the legs moving for a game at 1030... bulls*** if you ask me...

goto nemo's on the corner of michigan and trumbull. free parking and alot of people tailgate there. $3 shuttle which you can bring drinks on. I was there today and i go there before every game. always people in the lot playing cornhole, beer pong, and whatever. never failed me yet.

the last few games franzen, dat-sick, and homer have been playing together. needless to say they are playing pretty well. i was wondering if anybody understood the logic with homer and mule on the same line. i agree that datsyuk and franzen should be together but why wouldnt they put bert or filps up there. it seems to me that homer and mule have the same style with a gritty top of crease play and it kinda sounds dumb to have 2 of the same on the ice at the same time... what do you guys think?

i was in a similar position at the yotes v. wings game back in october at the glendale arena. i was a row down from this guy and he kept trying to start a fight. i was pretty hammered off tequila which usually puts me in scrap mode but unfortunetly i was with my sister and my grandma and out of respect for her i told this guy to get f***ed and let it go. then when we lost in OT he was chirpin the whole way out of the rink. so i finally pushed him down and got bum rushed by 2 cops. i got out of any trouble cuz nothing bad happened. my grandma told me on the ride home i shoulda kicked his ass at the arena. needless to say that was a completely unexpected comment...lol. my gma is sweet

those boys def dont want to play the wings first round or at any point in the playoffs thats for damn sure. When we come in as the 7 seed that wont be a fair representation of the quality our team has. i think the wings are gonna make some serious noise in the playoffs.
