when i tossed one at the joe, all i did was boil until it turns purple, and rinse it good. Then put it in a plastic bag and hockey taped it to the front of my ankle so my baggy jeans would hide it. Nobody even questioned me. It will stink though.

Who would you rather have? Franzen or Wayne Simmonds? Im taking Simmonds. 9 years younger, cap hit is a shade lower, and the 6 years he has left on his contract are actually in his prime. Hes also like a black Holmstrom that knows how to fight. Dont get me wrong, I like Mule alot when he plays like this, but at this point Simmonds is the better bargain moving forward.

I thought it looked like emdog was celebrating like he scored, then when everyone chased after toots he was like "wtf man i scored that." clearly he didnt though.

Watched the game on FSN over NBCSN for obvious reasons last night. Was curious to see if anyone could link some video of any kind just to see how they were covering us. Mainly the DeKeyser highlight reel and the incident where abby and someone from the PHX bench were chirping at each other while Pierre was trying to talk. I was curious to hear what was going on there.

Blues can def afford to lose for us too. Still not impossible to jump to 6th. That would give us Nucks first round which ill take all day. Maybe Ducks would be better matchup though. Their goaltending is rough.

Thats probably a little harsh. Actually really harsh. Were not playing bad, we just cant score (Not scoring does not mean playing bad btw). We outshot Van by 30 and lost in a shootout which luckily we dont have to worry about in the playoffs. You could def say we couldnt win a series which i wouldnt argue, but we would win a single game for sure no matter who we play.

If we dont win 3 of the next 4, we dont deserve it. And even if we were to make it, we'd get laid waste to by chicago, which may happen anyway. Not that I think CHI is that much better where theyd sweep us, but if we dont show up well get murdered.

How could somebody divorce Pav? He just seems like he'd be the nicest, most generous guy that his wife would have had to been the biggest B to ditch him. Maybe thats just what we see.

I just looked through a 10 page wizzy thread on here from 2011. Couldnt find the post i was looking for. I could be mistaking him for Kesler. But I know ive read that somewhere where a hometown kid who grew up hating the wings because they screwed his family and it caused alot of struggle for them.

Wiz never woulda came here. I recall reading an article talking about the wings screwed his uncle out of his job with the wings, or something like that.

canucks scare me the least of the top 3 seeds. I think the ducks are better than our season series record shows. we can hang with the nucks no problem.

and we get a good amount of forwards off the books at seasons end. plug in young guys for cheap, we easily have 5-7 mil throw at a scorer in the offseason.

ya and if we score 4 goals a game but we have a sucky goalie that gives up 5 we will always lose. the truth is we need both. all you need to win the playoffs is 2-3 goals a game and a good goalie. we have our good goalie and are arguably one player away from being a legit threat next season. in 3 years if the cap is high again youll start to love the jimmy contract when others are getting paid 7-8mil. its not about right now, its going into the future, because its pretty clear we arent winning this year.
