tatar is playing good, yes, but we arent going to win or lose solely based on him. so i think our need for wins does not completely dictate this move. if this move is in fact to establish a value on tatar and nyq, then I would only expect this for the next 5-8 games. then well see who gets sent off, because any trade we would make would be based on these 2. were not moving filp, mule, cleary, or abby which makes these 2 the only tradeable assets we have.

I think that they are getting these guys some time to show their value in the big league. Gearing up for a trade. But I agree, i believe Tatar will be up with the big boys next year. love what hes doing so far.

Dont think we would even think of taking him. Stats look like hes 3 injury filled seasons removed from being a consistent 50+ point player. Wonder who would take a stab at him.

I thought he clearly played the puck with his hand. And pretty sure FSD showed the replay of it. Still really stupid rule. If you can play the puck with your hand anywhere else on the ice (except closing your hand on it) why shouldnt you be allowed to in the circle? Stupid rule, but hopefully well get a break our way because of it.

if we were healthy right now nobody would even care that toots is fighting like that (everyone would think its great is what im trying to say). putting toots on the 2nd line might be a stretch right now, but you cant discount what hes doing out there. E did look a little pissed he didnt get to go, but i 100% agree that E shouldnt be fighting right now anyway with risk of injury. We need him. tootoo just looks like a serial killer
