He can't play defense so why not try him up front right......sounds familiar to what Babcock did with Meech if you ask me.

If anything I would have rather seen Ozzy play last night against Edm and Jimmy tonight

The stats are interesting and i'm not going to defend Ozzy cause I would rather see Jimmy in net but Jimmy has played 50 games to Ozzy's 19.....the odds would say the more you play the better chance you have at winning more games and having others play well around you. i'm glad the stats favor Jimmy, I think we have witnessed the changing of the guard.

When you have a big body like him that can turn missed shots in to goals and drive goalies crazy...its something special. I'll continue to proudly wear my #96 jersey after Homer is long gone

I just hope we never have to see Montreal's red white and blue barber pole looking uniforms ever again, no logo just stripes=Fugly. While were on the topic of uniforms, would anyone else like to see us rock out the winter classic jerseys every now and again?????? Its also impressive that Detroit has stuck to its roots and remains 1 of 2 teams to only have 2 colors on their jerseys (Toronto being the other) -
Good to see him do well but if we had to do it again I would still chose to sign Franz and Huds over him. Just kinda bit us in the but when Jiri bailed...and he still looks like big bird even in a Canucks uni

I don't think we have won 4 out of any 7 games this season (OTHER THAN ONCE OR TWICE) so one might say that our chances aren't too good.....however WHEN we make the playoffs we will be one scary 7/8 seed. I think it depends a lot on how Jimmy handles the playoff pressure, we have the veterans who are healthy now and I think they can carry us deep into the playoffs...

This is a great point that I hadn't even thought of, maybe Babs is thinking the Olympic break was enough. Either way if we are going to make the playoffs and be a force Jimmy will need some rest before that....but do you put Ozzy in during the final weeks of the regular season while we are trying to make the playoffs?

Not suprised at all by Carcillo's actions, fighting is about all he is good for. I would like to think that Devorski has a good reason for not pushing the case here but either way this "tough guy" should get some sort of discipline.

Was good to see us own the puck and was very nice to watch the Mule do his thing.

With his speed and style of physical play he will soon be playing in a Wings sweater. He is 3rd in points this season with the Griffins. One thing that could definitely be standing in his is Jeremy Williams, he's doing very well and may get a shot before Mursak.

His time had passed but for all he has done for this team and this city I don't think you will see him released. The same goes for Drapes and Malts, these 3 guys wont ever be released but you can bet that behind the scenes management is giving them the nudge before a difficult decision has to be made about their futures. Too many good young players in the organization that need playing time.
