Ovie vs Crosby... It's the easy road, a no brain automatic success. It is also what I would do even if it was the Pens 15th winter classic in a row. But hey, that's from a "I wanna make money" stand point and not a " I'm a Hockey fan" point of view.

lol, Ozzy wins us a cup. Ozzy gets us to game 7 SCF. Ozzy must suffer through fair weather fans. you play a guy once every 2 months and he loses. Really? I wonder why. Dont worry Ozzy real Wings fans still love you for what you have done for us all these years.

I would. Yes Jimmy is playing great but with this lead it is time to shake the rust off ozzy. I mean he only played absolutely great for us the past 2 playoffs, so why would we want him to shake the rust off this close to the playoffs?

You and I must have watched 2 different clips. at 27 seconds into the replay you clearly see the skater putting on the brakes. On topic I think it was just a reaction from the goaltender. I don't think he wanted to cheap shot the skater but he did so he should be fined and maybe even suspended a game. Just my 2 cents. -
If the Wings just play the way we all know they can we will win tonight. If the Blues decided to goon it up I just hope our boys come out unscathed. GO WINGS !

Teams out of the playoff race will still play hard. What most people forget is that these guys are still playing for jobs. Coaches dont want to be fired so they'll try to show improvement with the team heading into the off season. Players coming up on UFA WANT to be picked up by a team so they play hard as well. All in all I dont think they will be trying to knock Detroit out of 8th seed as much as they will be trying to keep/get a job next year.

The Wings have seniority over those teams. I would hope if a few teams were going to be shuffled around that an original Hockey Club would be given privilege over geography. Still IMHO the Wings in the east is only a pipe-dream. The only way i could see us being re-located to the east is if we face the pens 5 years in a row in the SCF, at that point the rivalry would bring in so much profit you would have to move the wings to the east. That will most likely not happen. -
Of course. A perfect example of a disliked player turning into a fan favorite is Chris Chelios. Now if Sid ever became lucky enough to drape a red and white jersey over his shoulders and play for Detroit, the organization would quickly confront his blatant poor sportsmen-ship and teach him how to hold his composure to win/lose with grace.
