No I don't... your comment doesn't even make sense. The way I stated it was that those players MAKE THE SAME OR LESS as Cleary, showing everyone what we COULD get for our money if we looked around the market enough... there's definitely better players out there for his price. Ken Holland is probably kicking himself for giving that much $$$ and a NTC. Cleary can train all he wants but somehow he always seems to get injured.

Clearys contract is the joke, he's garbage he'll be injured half the season again next year with like a broken leg or something. He doesn't deserve the money he's being paid. For what we pay him players like David Backes, Tomas Plekanec, Matt Lombardi, Scottie Upshall, Joe Pavelski, Alex Tanguay all made equal to or less than Clearys 09 salary. I'd take anyone of them for him... his god damn NTC.

Anyone who thinks Cleary deserves top 6 money is definitely insane... he's not worth his money. Wings won't win the central next year, honestly Chicago probably will as much as it pains me to say it. They're younger and faster which is why they did well these playoffs. We need a team overhaul of the dead weight veterans who just don't care anymore, dont act like you saw the same passion to win the cup this year as the 97 Stanley Cup team. Back then you could see the drive and desperation in game 1's. The Sharks series besides one game was dreadful to watch, other reasons may have affected the play (long cup runs before etc.) but the team didn't obviously look like a hungry Canadiens team. We will compete for a few years but that will be all, if things stay the course I expect another SC finals drought.

Can you guarantee the teams health? Honestly If Dats/Zet/Franz get hurt I expect to not make the playoffs... I just don't see it happening. We need major moves and to shake up a team. They've already won it all, we need a few new players with more desire to win their first cup (Example: Drake) It's contagious.

First off, I never said we were going to trade for Backes it was a comparison because both make the same per year in salary. Showing what we COULD get with that overpaid money. Cleary busts his ass off with his slow speed, and often injured frame. Malts needs to go, and Draper could be a 19th forward for all I care. Kovalchuk wouldn't fit a trap scheme well in NJ, but a puck possesion and defensive scheme might work for him (See: Fedorov). We won't win a Stanley Cup until Holland makes major moves. I don't watch basketball... and I know alot more about hockey than you probably being how I've played 15 years and haven't missed a Wings game in 4 years literally, not one.

I'd swap out Zetterberg for Kovalchuk Cleary for David Backes In a heartbeat... Saying the most commonly injured player on our team and who also isn't worth the money hes being paid doesn't deserve to go makes you a joke. I'd get rid of draper + meech and pick up Winchester too. Also, the truth is we need to get younger, bigger, and faster. Anyone who doesn't think so is definitely in denial.

Rafalski's game is fading and isn't worth his pay. If Zetterberg puts up numbers again like last year, between his injuries and lack of desire I'd say trade him... sorry fanboys If Franzen has anymore concussions the smart move would to be trade damaged goods while you still have value. Howard Choked in the playoffs, good games sure. He also had some bad one's, too inconsistent. Too much dead weight on the roster from loyalty (Draper, Maltby, Osgood) Kronwall has been lackluster the last two years, and is injury prone. Don't even get me started on this one; DAN CLEARY DOESN'T DESERVE HIS CONTRACT I'm sure he'll be out another 50 games with some type of injury next season, get him to waive his NTC and ship him out please. I've been seeing alot on here that Wings fans want MTL to win it all and this is what I have to say: Honestly, MTL has 10+ more cups than we do. I would like to someday hope the wings will catch them and have the most cups of any team all-time. since MTL's last cup we've gained 4 up, so it's possible. Everyone rooting for MTL puzzles me, even though I hate all 3 teams left... Philly as I cringe saying it would be my choice. I hate Chicago and don't wanna hear them brag. MTL is a good hockey city and all, but c'mon now people. Having the most cups in the league would even further validate the hockeytown phrase without contestation. Ever notice how Blackhawk/Pens fans always try to say "Hockeytown in Detroit - NO WAY MTL is hockeytown.

I'm a Blackhawks hater but they do have one player I like: Toews. He's a great player, underrated - especially during the olympics. He was arguably Canada's best player. He has a great attitude, doesn't place blame on anyone unlike Crosby. A silent leader, also a very charitable guy... The fact that he wears #19 and idolized Yzerman says alot too. Make him the new face of the NHL... People wouldn't mind believe me. Just get captain pubestache off the ledger.

If you saw the game glimpses of fans it was the 3 Red wings fans (all guys) one was a big guy with a bald head and gottee, the others were a little more heavy set with a ball cap on I think. I know they were involved after analyzing it myself not sure who won or not. Good Wings fans though, they've been there every coyotes home game this series. Oh and I forgot to add all three had on RED redwings jerseys hahah you know they came to piss people off, and always had beer in their hands. I DVR'd the game, if you did you can skim through and you'll see them sitting in the section where everyone was looking in the 3rd period
