You know that akward feeling you get when you see him stumble over his words and wish that he doesn't /fail anymore... God, he is a horrible broadcaster, not sure if being an analyst is for him. Maybe he could work in scouting or something else within the organization.

Honestly this isn't a flame to pick on Cleary, but does anyone else think it's time to cut ties? I'm not exactly sure how old he is, but must be in his 30's. He seems to be injured half of every season, and his body is slowing down. He still has some value of veteran leadership and limited gritty skill which has been in decline in my eyes. What I mean by that is when he first came here - Cleary would go into a corner for the puck and always come out with it, now not so much. I'd be open to the idea of trading cleary and lebda or meech for a young 4mill type of sniper... Which we haven't had a true sniper since Shanny. This is all just open to discussion, I know there will be some hardcore Cleary fans... I just wonder what everyone else is thinking

No, Franzen has a great shot but isn't a natural sniper like Brett Hull was. Franzen is more shifty/good in close and doesn't find as many open lanes to shoot from at the top of the hash marks as well as other Snipers in the league not taking anything away from Franzen. When I say sniper I mean Jeff Carter and Heatley type players. As so mentioned above... I'd move Cleary and Hudler for a 6 million or so a year proven sniper... I don't see why not. If Cleary waived his NTC which I don't see happening. Hudler is undersized and gets pushed off the puck too easy and also vanishes in the playoffs.

I honestly don't want Hudler back for a few reasons. He's a poor skater, he is way too small, and he gets knocked off the puck way to easy (doesn't work in our scheme.) Not to mention who wants to watch our team get picked on every game because everyone goes for Hudler (Phaenuf hit, The Mike Brown elbow.) The biggest reason overall is he left the team for money... Alot of us would do the same, I don't hate the guy for it but I don't want him back on the team... It's a slap in the face to Lidstrom, Yzerman, and others throughout the years who take pay-cuts to play for an organization that exudes class. Letting Hudler come back would be like letting your son who deals crack come live with you. Sure he CAN put up 60pts +/- but we could also find someone else to do so, although it'd be harder.

I'm sorry but does anyone else find our DJ - INCREDIBLY CHEESY- I mean I get the whole play a song which corresponds to real action pitch but I watch every game like most of you and it just gets old and lame. Don't Stop Believing is way overplayed - not to mention there's no such thing as "south detroit" South Detroit would be the river/windsor. I think its time to offer up the position who can liven the place up more than the current DJ as well, honestly I mean in the 90's when they'd play 'hey hey hockeytown' the place was on fire, obviously a different more electric era than today.. but we need a new selection. If I have to hear 'No more Mr.Nice Guy' one more time after we get scored on im going to spontaneously combust.

Bertuzzi went after Moore from behind the wrong way as we all know in retaliation for Nasuland (also a swede, ironic.) What we were saying is that at least Bertuzzi did it with good intentions, but did it in the wrong way. Crosby just acts classless because he is a diver, who whines and hates being shutdown by Zetta.

When it comes to Crosby... class isn't relevant - you know that!! BTW, is anyone else sick of hearing NBC and versus say "Crosby this, Crosby that??" I'm completely fed up they're so used to saying it... it makes me sick. Olczyk (sp?) even mistakenly called Fleury, CROSBY... I mean mixing a goaltenders name with a forward is insane. And you could honestly tell the Versus network wrote a teleprompter speech for whoever the monotone former Philly coach was about how the Penguins would win the cup LOL... look at his eyes during the speech.

I've gotta say... I was hoping when I saw Bertuzzi spit out the mouthguard and charge at cindy there was going to be another moore type incident.. way to get my hopes up Bert.
