Buddy is taking a co-worker who has never gone to a game and doesn't like hockey It's all for the best, they have absolutely sucked when I go to games so lets hope for a great game from the boys. I am expecting a low-scoring, playoff style to it. Might blow up in the 3rd tho after the feeling out process is done. I am thinking an OT winner and I liked what someone else said with Hank potting it. He needs a twine-filled evening. I am thinking a curly fries afternoon tomorrow could be in our future. Long drawn out post aside.....win!!!!!!

Slightly better than Draper. I can see him getting a few more 20+ goal seasons than Draper had. It has been a joy to watch him evolve this season and really have that offensive skill meet the speed.

Zetterberg and Datsyuk will be paired together at home and split up on the road due to last change and for the better of all lines. I'd like to be a coach too but the guy with the magnificent hair makes the choices. blueadams is better at these anyway.

Yet Hank posted his biggest amount of points during the time he was on the line with these 2 floater mcgees. Interesting logic here. I also think people need to back off Flipper, whipping boys are all the rage here I understand but this guy is not someone to look at. On a sidenote it would appear we probably should have traded Huds when he was on the line with Clears and Pav. He is gone again

detnews Interesting look at the possibilities this off season. We all know he would return if he does come back next season, which at the level he can play I don't see why he doesn't play another few seasons. Just all depends on the situation with his kids in Sweden I am sure.

It's a good thing to have him back next year. Nothing like saying Lidstrom is coming back next year to start a flame about salary when we will have a ton freed up anyway.

Not quite sure what people are trying to get at here. Yes, he has slowed down a tad. Players do that once they get older and have a nagging back issue that is clear on the ice. Fact is, he DOES outwork most players on the ice, plays against the top line all the time, and yes, takes the most shots on the team or close to being most in the league but has become more of a setup guy with the linemates he has been paired with. Plus, honestly Wings fans you can't say you want to knock the guy for shooting the puck when that is the knock on a lot of players on this team. He is the next captain of the Red Wings and in the last 25+ years that says a lot for what the educated brass of the Wings think of him.
