Smith isn't going to be captain. He's been arrested twice already (IIRC, a DUI for driving a moped drunk and a disorderly for punching a guy at a party). And then, there's the Teletubby carrying his license, claiming to be him. I'm not saying Smith can't mature, but guys like Yzerman, Lidstrom and Zetterberg would never have done things like that. And Smith still looks like he'd be sort of a prick off-the-ice. On the other hand, I think DeKeyser seems to have the right makeup for possibly being captain one day. Just based on the way he plays the game, and the way he handles himself off-the-ice.

That really was pretty sad and disturbing. Both the music and fighting. Notice how none of them actually "dropped the gloves" though. I guess they didn't want to hurt their fists? But this kind of stuff is how people who don't follow hockey get the wrong idea.

As everyone's pretty much said, this is totally stupid. It's clearly greed on the NHL's part. These games would make a lot more money than a typical regular season game. So even if the significance of the event is watered down, the revenue will still be high for each additional outdoor game.

Either Datsyuk or Zetterberg (or both) have scored a point on nearly 60% of our goals so far this season. To be exact, it's 57 goals out of 99 total. "I like our depth."

Probably even Datsyuk couldn't answer this question right now.

From here on out, I think we'll basically see Datsyuk and Zetterberg will our team into the playoffs.
