That's fine but toby said "Burns is the 2nd highest paid defenseman right now, looks like a lot of money". That is only true because the cap is higher then when the others signed there contracts. If the cap never moved Burns would be nowhere near the top paid defenseman. Also we have Frk, who needs Crosby or McDavid.

Aside from the TB and NYR game, they were the better team in most of those games.

The team in it's first 8 games, albeit short window looked extremely good. They all hustled, wanted the puck, forechecked like crazy but after those 8 games the team has gone back to it's old ways, playing 20-30 minutes a night. Is it our coaching? system? players? I have no idea at this point. It's like guys are trying to play themselves off the team rather than win games. Perhaps playing inferior players has messed the lockerroom up.

Which is fine, but wings_fanatic said Nyquist and Tatar excelled at the international play. My argument was Nyquist played well in the world championships against lesser competition. Against the best on best, he didn't make the team.

No doubt but I just look at him the same as Abby. He was playing with two elite players at one time inflating his stats.
