I just don't buy into the East thing. Montreal is one of the smallest team's yet they are sitting on top of the division. The only big teams to be concerned about are Boston and Philly, Toronto is not a threat at all.

Great conclusion considering the fact he hasn't even had a chance to play with Datsyuk or Zetterberg yet aside from 1 shift. No one knows if Nyquist would be able to compete or be a difference changer because he hasn't be given a chance. This is the exact same situation that happened in Toronto with Nazem Kadri. Ron Wilson played him on the third and mostly fourth lines other than that he wasn't allowed to play for the Leafs and was buried in the minors. This year under Randy Carlyle you now see what Kadri is capable of doing playing with good players. Not saying Nyquist will be top 10 in scoring but you don't know what you have if you don't play your players with the proper players.

I don't really mind no trades were done, as long as something is done in the off season. The one thing that I will be pissed at is if Holland doesn't get Flip for cheaper, or just let's him walk considering he could have traded him for something (ala Brad Stuart last year). If we aren't going to re-sign Flip, and we know for sure we are not winning the cup we should have traded him. Time will tell what happens.

If Flip walks at the end of the year, Holland should be fired for not getting something for him if he doesn't think he will re-sign. If we aren't going to do anything, might as well make sure he will re-sign for cheaper than 5 million.
