I am not saying don't put no one fast with Datsyuk and Richards but Helm is the wrong choice. He is a 4th liner and can't finish. Someone like Larkin should be playing there instead. -

Doesn't he have 4 points in his last 5 games? The problem is Helm on that line more so then Richards imo. Helm doesn't have the IQ to play with either of those two. -
If Smith has been our best defenseman for any period we are in serious trouble.

I agree the lines need to change but let's not blame this game on only Blash here, he already took responsibility after the game for the team "not being prepared". He changed the lines in the 3rd and still nothing happened, the team gave away the puck a ridiculous amount of times they had no chance to win when they played like that. It reminded me of how they were playing when they went on that 1-6 stretch earlier in the year, they looked slow and turned the puck over a lot. -

Dumbest argument ever. +/- is a team stat. In 2013 Pascal Dupuis led all players in +/-, he must be elite. With all the other advanced stats these days why do people still look at +/- I will never know. Shea Weber is a -5 btw, guess he is the 2nd worst defense men in the game now by your standards.

The whole team sucks on offense right now it has nothing to do with Green. He has the same amount of points as Kronwall and has played 6 less games.

I agree with krsmith. That is one terrible contract if they sign him for that or anywhere near that. I would rather pay a higher salary for less term, there is no way he is going to be effective in 3-4 years. -
Take Green away and put in Kindl. Would you be happier then? People just have to complain about something these days.
