Exactly. Trades take two sides, if Poile wasn't interested in anything but Jarnkrok then that's exactly what you give up. So glad some people on here are not GM's. This is probably exactly how the talks started. -

Oh don't worry. Apparently Jarnkrok is better then him as well even though he hasn't played a game in the NHL.... Except we wouldn't have Nyquist or Tatar, and probably Mantha if we acquired Kesler. He is not worth the price. -

Gus makes a huge difference in net because he plays the puck so well. It's night and day after watching yesterdays game of how huge a goaltender that can play the puck really is.

This. You can't really compare anyone to them. Same with Jagr, he's a truly fantastic player, even in today's NHL. -

Yep. Wasn't all his fault, but he wasn't good last game. We need Jimmy to start playing like he did in the playoffs last year. Right now anytime a shot is taken on net I'm worried about it going in or a rebound going to the open man. -

Sheahan probably made Jarnkrok expendable by his play this year. I believe Babcock thinks he could fill a top 6 center in future. -

I think they know he's going to sign again in Detroit and so does Poile, which is why the price was so high. I could be wrong, but just have that feeling. -
